Today is our second to last day here at Pasado's Safe Haven in Washington. You can definitely tell that the cabin fever has settled in quite nicely and it's time to go home. It really has been an amazing experience, but with nothing to do but go on a run and eat after our shifts everyday, the fever of boredom sets in and I think it's time for some hot San Diego weather.

Today I worked in Kitty City with Amy and we did the usual routine: clean up poop, mop the floors, replace soiled bedding, wash Moo the incontinent cat, replace old water with new, wash dirty laundry, dry wet laundry, and socialize the cats. We also completely cleaned out a small house in the feral cat yard and took out the cages that were in it, replacing it with koda beds. Camille and I took a second to hang out with the friendly garden snake too. That all took a while and I worked up a healthy appetite in the process. I too my lunch and came back to Kitty City where Amy took her lunch break and left me to hangout with the cats. I washed some excess bowls and played games I wht the cats until Amy called me to help with bird beautification.
I met the girls, Amy, and Jennifer down near the Old Barn and we travelled down to the chicken areas. We powdered their mite areas after catching them and then our day was done. And all the while it was raining.
Today was fun, fast, and a great way to slowly end this trip.
