Today I chose to work in Dog Town again because I enjoyed it so much yesterday. Natalia and I assisted Diane in feeding the dogs and cleaning their areas. The other girls joined us and Diane gave us some email time and then took us out to Subwayfor lunch. We went from there to a woman's trailer where we dropped off some dog and cat food. She hardly has no eyesight in one of her eyes and is losing sight in the other so she can't leave her trailer to get food. She also has trouble with break ins and doesn't want to leave her trailer. We talked with her for a while, trying to understand her story, and then left to work back at Pasado's. I assisted Diane alone when we got back and we showed another volunteer the Huskies. I said my goodbyes to Diane since today is the last day that I will ever see her and then made my way back to the intern house.
